During his career George
attended in excess of 40 specialized courses in
the areas of firearms, defensive tactics, officer
survival, crisis negotiations and edged weapons
becoming an instructor in several of these areas.
This was in addition of training in several traditional
martial art disciplines.
Due to his vast training influences George is
known as a trainer who thinks outside the box.
responsible for several forward thinking programs
within his agency to include force on force training
using non law enforcement role players and air
soft weapons, the county's first patrol rifle
program and his agencies adoption and issue of
a tactical folding knife, for which George provided training.
Through experience and research George saw a massive void between what was being taught
in the way of open hand combatives, impact weapons
, edged weapons and firearms and what he knew
to be the realities of interpersonal combat.
